Parish Mission 2011


My brothers and sisters, our Parish Mission is scheduled for March 28, 29, and 30 (Monday-Wednesday). Our guest speaker is Father Witold Kania. We are very excited to have him! Fr. Kania get is Licentiate in theology at the Academy of Catholic Theology, Warsaw (Poland), and his Master’s degree in theology is from the Papal Academy of Theology, Cracow, (Poland). Father Kania is member of the Bioethical Committee of the Medical University of Silesia Katowice (Poland), he was Chaplin to the Missionaries of Charity and actually is the Chaplain of the Knights of Columbus at Archdiocese of Katowice (Poland).

The Theme for our Mission this year is: For His mercy endures forever (Psalm 106:1). There will one session per day, from 7PM – 8PM in the church. The topic for each day will be as follow:

Monday, March 28, 2011 – “Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you”. (Luke 15: 21). The merciful love of God and my sin.

Tuesday, March 29, 2011 –“Jesus, Son of David, have pity on me”. (Mark 10: 47). Saint Faustina Kowalska and the revelation of God’s mercy.

Wednesday, March, 2011 –“I am the bread of life”. (John 6: 35). The Eucharist as a source of mercy.

Let us give thanks to the Lord for this great opportunity to reflect on His word. His love endures forever!
